Australia then chased down the target with 4 wickets to spare, with David Warner scoring a century (107 runs) and Steve Smith scoring a half-century (56 runs).
This is Australia's first World Cup title since 2015. They have now won the tournament more times than any other team. India, the defending champions, finished as runners-up for the second time in a row.
