Libertarian Party Nominates Chase Oliver as Presidential Candidate

Oliver Pledges to End "Genocide" in Acceptance Speech

Former Democrat Secures Nomination After Seven Rounds of Voting

Washington, D.C. - Chase Oliver, an openly gay former Democrat, has won the Libertarian Party's presidential nomination. Oliver, who forced a runoff in a race for a U.S. Senate seat in Georgia in 2022, beat out nine other candidates after seven rounds of voting at the party's convention in Washington, D.C.

In his acceptance speech, Oliver pledged to end "the genocide" and appealed to young voters disillusioned with the political establishment. Oliver's nomination makes him the latest figure to enter the 2024 race for the White House.

Oliver's political journey began as an anti-war protester in the early 2000s. He has since become an outspoken critic of government overreach and a proponent of individual rights. As a presidential candidate, Oliver vows to champion a platform based on the principles of liberty, limited government, and free markets.
